Panama Canal Miraflores Visitor Center Restaurant - View dining is available right on the Panama Canal
Many local Panamanians know the secret of all the best places to eat in Panama. One of their favorite top restaurants is actually at the Miraflores Visitor Center, overlooking the Panama Canal. Entrance tickets are not necessary to use the restaurant, but it is a great opportunity to tour the exhibitions and learn about the history of the building of the Canal.
The Miraflores restaurant is open from 12 noon to around 11.00pm each day. It is overlooking the locks where huge container ships and cruise ships pass by the window just yards away. The ever-changing view is fascinating and as the locks operate 24/7 there is always something to see here.

This huge restaurant, along with the two cafeterias on site, has an excellent reputation for gourmet dining. The menu is extensive, but it is not cheap. The all-you-can-eat buffet is a delicious mouth-watering spread of meats, seafood, salads and delicious desserts, so you certainly get your money’s worth here.
Dine in style at this excellent restaurant with great waiter service. If the weather is pleasant, enjoy one of the outdoor tables at this historic sight and watch the ships sail by in the moonlight.
